Seattle staged a stunning fightback to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, clinching their place in the postseason.

Rallying from a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth consecutive win.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a playoff spot earlier on game day, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seattle now lead their division's standings with a 12-3 mark, supplanting the Los Angeles, who dropped to the number five seed with an eleven and four standing.

Game Recap

Signal-caller Sam Darnold threw two interceptions but recovered to deliver two scoring throws, including the second TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The Rams held a 13-7 advantage at half-time before Walker broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for Seattle.

Los Angeles defensive back Josh Wallace then returned Darnold's first interception for a big return, leading to a one-yard touchdown by Corum on the ensuing snap.

In the final stanza, a touchdown from Stafford to Puka Nacua extended the Rams' lead to 30-14, but Shaheed ignited the hope with a spectacular return for a score.

Darnold then found Barner in the endzone, and a converted two-point play forced the game into overtime.

Although Nacua raced in for his another TD in OT, Jaxon Smith-Njigba answered in kind to setup the game-winning conversion.
